Procedure: | Hyaluronic Acid is the main constituent of all reputable fillers. Hyaluronic acid is also a constituent of human skin.Fillers are injected to restore volume to the face / neck / eyes & hands, thereby aesthetically improving these areas. |
Duration of procedure: | ½ – 1 hour |
Anaesthesia: | Application of Emla anaesthetic cream or local anaesthetic injection, especially when injecting the sensitive lip region. |
In/Out patient: | Out Patient. Injections done in Dr Jedeikin’s rooms. |
Post-operative: | Slight pain at the time of the injection with occasionally swelling and bruising. Immediate us of ice packs and application of Surgeons Choice Tissue repair oil facilitates rapid recovery. |
Recovery: | 2 – 3 days and make-up can be applied immediately to cover bruising and redness, which is short lived. |
Results: | Flattening of wrinkles and deep furrows. This is not a permanent treatment and needs repeating every 9-12 months. |
Before/After Animation: | Due to new regulations, I have had to temporarily remove the sample pictures. |
